Christian's little brother just discovered Rock 'n' Roll...

Christian Kjellvander kennt man hierzulande, seinen jüngeren Bruder Gustav noch kaum. Wetten, dass sich das im August schlagartig ändern wird? Dann erscheint nämlich auf dem feinen Stickman-Label das neue Album "Radiola" von Gustavs Band The Fine Arts Showcase. Darauf finden sich schwelgerische Pop-Perlen mit leicht folkigem Touch, die sich irgendwo zwischen Isolation Years, The Divine Comedy, The Cardigans, Interpol und The Flaming Lips einordnen lassen. Produziert wurde das Album übrigens von Mathias Oldén (Bassist von Logh), den Mix teilten sich Mathias und Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Gitarrist von Fireside und Produzent von The Robocop Kraus, The Hives u.v.m.).

Gustaf started releasing records when he was 17....He didn't exactly just discover Rock and Roll...

of course, but in switzerland no one has heard of him before. and the headline was kind of catchy ;-)
